With the shield's up on the ship, Conri brought the Champion's Ship in towards the large energy reading on the scanners, which turned out to be a really big ass shield. Descending into the planet's atmosphere was rough on the girl, the shields weren't meant for such a dangerous electromagnetic field, but they were holding for the moment. He aimed for the shield and hoped that whoever made it had designed it for ships to enter because that's what they were about to try doing right now. It was a bit rough, but they managed to slip through the shields, as if they had been designed only to protect against the harsh environment that lay outside. Inside was something else, the systems weren't under constant attack from the planet's atmosphere, instead they now calmed down as the large shield enveloped them as well.
Inside was a spaceport that seemed to hold a small population of people that seemed to have the fortitude to live on the planet's surface. Was this all that the planet had to offer in the way of people? Shaking his head, he focused on landing at the spaceport, since this place seemed to be mainly used for that. With what looked like cargo ships for transporting goods off the planet, he pulled his ship into one of the free docks and began to shut everything down.

William remained vigilant from the corner of the cockpit. With one hand against the bulkhead to steady himself as the Champion entered the planet’s hectic atmosphere. It was a rough ride but nothing the state of the art spaceship could not handle. Meanwhile, possibility after possibility plagued young Willie’s mind. After all they knew nothing of the planet besides the barren, arid landscape they saw from afar, and had no ideas who were its inhabitants.
As they neared the surface, the source of the energy readings became clear as a giant bluish dome came into view. It was reminiscent of a bubble type barrier, a technique he had seen before. Slowly they descended towards the dome, each no doubt hoping that they would be allowed in; William held his breath. But just as they were about to make contact, the bubble seemed to open up and swallow them whole, as they passed through without incident.
Letting go of his held breath in a low sigh, the boy stepped forward, so he stood behind and to the left of the captain’s chair. Peering out into the area they found but a single building and a small docking bay; capable of only holding two, maybe three, ships at most. This was quite a sight for William, as both Earth and the Omega Collective held massive bays with docks for hundreds of ships. A select few seemed to be moving outside as Lane lowered the ship into an open dock.
It was still hard to tell what they looked like, as they were still quite far away from them, even as the shuttle touched down. Willie could swear one was staring directly at him, though he had no proof for he could not even tell if the being was humanoid, nonetheless glaring in their direction. However, they were no shot down upon entry of the atmosphere and were allowed entrance into the small space port’s barrier.
Hopefully, the apparent human prayed, hopefully things would continue in a smooth, unhazardous, manner; though he knew from experience that such hope was asking far too much of any situation.

The ship slowly approached, or quickly by human standards, or gradual by alien standards…you get the idea the ship was approaching the apparently shielded space port. In truth Kurosanai had been expecting something much larger than what he saw in front of him. Conri’s ship passed easily through the shields, which was a relief due to the fact that no one on the ship seemed to know for sure whether or not they would smash into thinking it was a defensive shield. Thankfully it appeared to be one that seemed to protect the small port from the extreme elements on the planet. Conri carefully maneuvered the ship into what many would consider an exemplary parking job.
As the prodigy of the Muzai peered out the window his impression of the planet continued to diminish. Compared to what he had seen when the sun first crested over the horizon of the planet to the desolation of the majority of it to the small size of the space port and then to people that were residing in the spaceport. They were rough, ragged, dismal looking and rather unsightly. Guess what folks? They were bums. Most wore tattered clothing as they sat on the sides of the buildings. The few that had good clothing appeared to be ordering the others around meaning they were either from off world or they were the ones in charge.
All of the buildings were rather modest and appeared to be more along the lines of warehouses than anything else. This only seemed to puzzle Kurosanai even more than anything else. What was the point of putting something like this on a planet that was in the middle of nowhere? It was then that he saw a very large structure tucked behind all of the buildings. Kuro’s best guess would have been that it was some form of massive elevator that transported not only people but equipment as well. His best guess as to why people lived here or even traveled here had to be connected with that.
He clapped down his hand on Conri’s shoulder and with a smile he turned to the Galactic tournament . “I guess we are just going to have to go out there and introduce ourselves to these very qell dressed individuals. My bets is that whatever is driving this little outpost is somehow beyond that building there,” Kurosanai stated as he pointed at what he thought was the elevator. “If we can get in there then I think we will have our answers as to why these people are in this hell hole. Now let’s get a going,” Kurosanai laughed as he walked out of the cockpit towards the door of the ship.

The place was really odd looking that there seemed to be no houses, just warehouse-like buildings, and even the port wasn't all that large. So, what were these people doing here then, did they have places to live and just worked up here? Then there was the point of their tattered clothes, except for a few that seemed to be wearing good clothes. A frown seemed to cross Conri's face at that sight, he really hoped that this wasn't going to turn into the situation he thought it was going.
The clasp to his shoulder brought him out of his thoughts as he turned towards Kurosanai, nodding his head he began to rise from the chair. The relief of being able to stand once more after that trip was one that really helped his mood as well, following that up with a round of cracking his tense bones and joints, he was feeling as good as new. Following the direction Kurosanai had started off in, Conri gave the other human passenger a friendly pat on the back, "Relax, I'll do everything in my power to make sure you both get home safely."
Given that he had a rather high power as well, it was safe to say there was a fair bit that he could do to back up that claim as well. Heading to the door he hit the button to lower the ramp, and headed out into the planet's atmosphere, no time like the present to test what it was like within the barrier. He wanted to try to find out what happened to this planet as well and see if there might be some way to fix the damaged magnetic field. First they would need to try finding the previous crew that came to this section of space and to do that they were going to need to talk with some of the locals.
From this point on, Conri would need to keep his guard up so that he could make sure that nothing happened to the other two. Despite that they could take care of themselves, he had a sense of responsibility for them, probably with his more professional attitude that he wouldn't lose anyone on a mission if it was within his ability. However, he began to search the crowd for someone that might look overly curious about them or maybe interested in the new strangers in town, they tended to be good sources of information. Their entrance would likely help with drawing attention to them whether they wanted it or not in general.

“My lord, a ship has been spotted entering our space. The markings are unfamiliar. Hailing attempts have failed due to interference and they lack the necessary access codes. Shields are still in full power. They will be vaporized upon contact. Your orders?”
Arpatiko the Hunter sat in the chair in his office and considered the words he had just heard. Travelers? Here? Why in the world would any ship seek to land here on this barren rock? Perhaps they were lost…Or perhaps they were here to liberate his people. The last thought made him scoff, a pipe-dream that was. He tapped his communicator on his wrist. Whatever it was, he wasn’t about to let some innocents die, splattered like a bug on a windshield. There was no sport in it.
“Disarm the lethal layer of the shield. I’ll meet with these travelers and see just what it is they want. Until now we are on high alert. Send men to meet me at the lift” He stood from his chair and walked out of his office, signaling to the guards he passed to follow him. The view in front of them opened up and catacombs opened up. Looking down off the catwalks it seemed to go down infinitely. They walked to the center, where a massive set of double doors slid open slowly. A cargo lift of epic proportions lay in the interior, and as requested twenty of the best guards in a mix of warrior and tank suits were waiting. He walked into the lift and turned, facing the doors as the lift ascended.
“Gentlemen. A ship has landed within the walls of our shield. Its origin is uncertain and so is the nature of those aboard. Until we find out we are to treat them as hostile. Do not fire until I give the order. And as usual, let me do all the talking.”
The lift slowly ascended. It was unclear what they were going to find, but Arpatiko was ready. He was always ready.

The easy going Kurozanai Muzia placed a hand upon the shoulder of the seated pilot. With a grin he leaned toward the cockpit window and pointed to a large structure.
“I guess we are just going to have to go out there and introduce ourselves to these very qell dressed individuals. My bet is that whatever is driving this little outpost is somehow beyond that building there. If we can get in there then I think we will have our answers as to why these people are in this hell hole. Now let’s get a going.”
Then he turned and marched straight out of the cockpit and to the drop ramp. William let out a sigh after the human’s footsteps were reduced to echoes. He was not so eager to die. Too much weighed upon him. Cracks and the resulting satisfied groans drew Willie’s eye to the champion.
"Relax; I'll do everything in my power to make sure you both get home safely."
He stated with an accompanying gesture of reassurance. Though the apparent human appreciated the half-saiyan’s attempt, it did nothing to ease his worries. As the blue haired man passed on in Kurosanai’s footsteps, William’s eyes fell. Catching sight of his weighted gauntlets and greaves, his thoughts turned to Master Vespasian’s brash, yet wise, words.
“When you go into battle you must think on one thing and one thing alone, staying alive.”
Taking in a deep breath, followed by a slow exhale, he decided he would have to keep his mind on task. After all, if he was worried about being killed, and worrying likened the chance of that happened, it all just seemed counterintuitive. Despite this, Willie still found himself swallowing hard as the ramp descended. A moment later he was following Conri Lane onto the landing pad belonging to the small space port.
“Do you want to go out onto the lone outpost of a desert planet? Suuure... Get brutally murdered by the Space Manson family? Heck, why not…”
He mumbled under his breath as they marched onwards toward the building Kurosanai pointed at. They would need answers, but such would require someone to question. The few individuals they had noticed before seemed to disappear into thin air. Shadows in the corners of buildings; a flash in the peripherals; eyes ever vigilant through slits in windows and shades.
“Locals seem quite… Receptive.”
Coming to the large building, almost immediately upon arrival the ground would begin to rumble. William stumbled but managed to keep his balance; his body almost seeming to sway with the motions. It was the elevator; rising to the surface. All at once it would stop, along with the small quake its movement caused. The lift’s doors opened; William defecated masonry.
Over twenty creatures of daunting height and stature, adorned in what appeared to be highly advanced technological masterpieces. Patches of scaly reptilian hide protruded from armor in the neck, abdomen and fingers. Piercing blue eyes glared from their helmets, tapering in the back with thick black ropelike hair. Heavy metallic plating covered key areas and was interwoven with sectioned black under armor.
The impressive high tech suits seemed to differ between a few menacing variations. Cannons which donned some of the creatures’ shoulder plating only added to their already intimidating aura.
“Yeeeaaah, they look like good guys… Not highly trained brutal killing machines or anything.”

When the door opened the dry air was the first thing that the prodigy of the Muzai noticed. It was so dry that he could have sworn that some of his lung capacity was lost due to shrinkage, no not that kind of shrinkage. The very next thing he noticed was that the people were even nastier to look at up close then they were at a distance. It was fairly obvious that he was not going to find anyone that would prefer to talk with him about the place they lived over eating something or perhaps more likely something to drink. The air stunk from the stench of all the people that were living on this small island oasis in the middle of nothing. The word oasis was used lightly as well. Kurosanai doubted anyone on this planet consider this place an oasis.
“Well this is a bit depressing for the first group of people we meet on the planet…” Kurosanai said as Conri Lane followed him out of the ship. The half Saiyan was followed by the ever so cheerful final member of the three man squad. Kuro was really starting to get sick of his negative attitude. Every single decision that had been made thus far had only made Mr. Willie Watson groan or doubt the words that had been spoken. Frankly Kurosanai really wanted to punch him in the face and by the end of this trip he may actually do just that.
Suddenly the ground began to violently shake as the people on the street began to make way for whatever was coming out must have earned its own respect. Soon the streets were dead quiet and empty as shades were pulled and shutters shut. Then the massive doors that lead to what Kurosanai had thought was an elevator, or hoped anyways, began to open. What came out of them was not what he wanted to see. Monstrously big creatures, like six foot six inch and above, began marching out of it. The prodigy of the Muzai lost count after twenty five or so which he cursed under his breath at. They all seemed to be wearing armor plating that was strategically located over their body. There were reptilian in nature and while they varied a bit in appearance the prodigy of the Muzai did not exactly love the idea of possibly tangling with these guys.
“That could be a bit of a problem…” Kurosanai stated loud enough for the group of the three to hear. “Maybe they are just here to give us a grand tour of their lovely little desert island or perhaps to tell us that we have won Publisher’s Clearing House…” Kuro joked with a laugh. He was trying to relieve some of the nervousness that was starting to ball up in his stomach at the site of all the creatures pouring out of the elevator. Sweat began to run down his forehead, together the three of them were probably enough to put up a fight in case things turned violent Kurosanai just did not want it to escalate so quickly.
“Please be here to offer us a giant check for one million zeni,” Kurosanai repeated to himself under his breath.

A face full of dry air was just what everyone wanted when they first walked out of their ship and onto a planet, and worse yet he was sure that it was going to cause just all sorts of problems for his hair. God, it was like this planet didn't take anyone else's feelings into consideration with its lack of magnetic field stability. What a jerk it was. Still, what was actually important was the lack of people that were around the area since they had exited the ship. Instead there were eyes from every nook and cranny of the space port staring at them and that was more annoying to the Half-Saiyan than anything else. He supposed that they had a good reason for it not knowing who was landing at their spaceport, but still, that was just being mean now.
When the rumbling occurred he couldn't help but to notice the origins as the area that Kurosanai had pointed out, what came up was indeed an elevator. What came off of the elevator was something not quite expected, but it seemed like a more normal response with the way things were going so far for them. He could hear the slight nervousness in both William and Kurosanai as they remarked on the appearances of the ones that were to greet them. Were they really that scary looking? Maybe there was just something wrong with Conri's head where they didn't look all that menacing to him. Sure, they looked like armed warriors, but was that really something scary? Shaking his head, he decided to start things off and walked towards the group with a calm demeanor, stopping a few feet short of the group.
There was no point in not trying to start things off on the right foot, that way he could say that he at least made the effort to prevent things from becoming a shit storm. Plus, it seemed silly to be afraid of the people that they were here to talk to in the first place.
"Hey, how's it going? My name's Conri Lane," he said, extending his gauntlet-covered hand out for whoever would shake it. At least, he hoped that someone would shake it, otherwise this would just awkward to have his arm hanging out like that. Still, he was making the effort to not appear hostile, which he would this group would recognize and not decide to suddenly attack them like he had insulted their families. His eyes scanning the group for a reaction, if they did turn hostile, he didn't want to be caught off-guard. Although, he really didn't think they looked like they were monsters that would just attack for no reason either, but he could be completely wrong. It happened before and it was likely to happen again.

The sight that greeted Arpatiko when the elevator doors opened was not what the alien had been expecting. Perhaps he had brought too many men to deal with whatever this was. The three creatures that stood in front of him all appeared to be human, and their power-levels varied vastly between the three of them, each seemed to be half of the others pl. He stepped out from his guard of men and began walking up to the three when the strongest approached. He was taller than the other two, but was still dwarfed by Arpatiko and his people. The shortest was around eight feet tall, whereas Arpatiko stood at Nine and a half feet tall.
“Greetings Conri of the Lane. I am Arpatiko. Friends of Conri, state your names. And please, your reasons for being here. I assure you we mean you no harm, the warriors behind me are a precaution. I have allowed you through our shields because I believe you to be lost. No one comes to Belegost for any reason other than to pick up supplies, and even then that’s only members of the church. So my new friends, who are you, and why have you come?” His voice sounded muffled by his translator built into his mask. (OOC: He sounds like bane) His men stood back as they were ordered to, standing stoic and unmoving but not looking lazy. They were trained warriors, and did their jobs to the best of their abilities. They would make no move towards the three newcomers unless they made an action against Arpatiko.

“That could be a bit of a problem… Maybe they are just here to give us a grand tour of their lovely little desert island or perhaps to tell us that we have won Publisher’s Clearing House…”
William rolled his eyes as the ‘class clown’ of the team laughed nervously. Though he was not at all familiar with this race, he doubted that they would take planetary trespassers laughing at their arrival as a compliment. The beads of perspiration which formed on the jokester’s brow brought to light how he no longer sweats; at least since the day of the fateful explosion in the Gamma Slums which resulted in his accidental absorption.
“Please be here to offer us a giant check for one million zeni,”
The ‘prodigy’ mumbled, no doubt so it was not audible to the welcome wagon, though William was privy as he stood adjacent to the man. Willie cared little for how he tried to make light of every situation with dull ‘jokes.’ Though he was a pacifist by nature, he could not help but imagine bouncing Kuro’s dumb grin off the ground. Unwittingly, the tempting thought actually helped ease his mind, despite the potentially dire situation.
"Hey, how's it going? My name's Conri Lane,"
William turned back to the champion, surprised at the calm tone of his voice, and then even more so by the gesture he put forth; surprise evident by his slightly agape jaw. Is he insane? Or just that arrogant? No doubt winning the Galactic Tournament had the ability to go to anyone’s head; after all it entailed being the strongest fighter in said galaxy. Willie only hoped that the aliens would find it warming to be greeted by someone wearing nearly as much metal as they. Then the largest of them all, a being wearing an armor unique to the rest, stepped up to the half-saiyan.
So my new friends, who are you, and why have you come?”
Though his words were not inflammatory, and his intentions apparently good, his voice was downright demonic. Whether it was his voice alone, or the addition of whatever device it cycled through, the voice of Arpatiko was deep and resonating with a dark and haunting confidence. It sounds as if he was born in the dark; molded by it even. However, despite the frightening voice, they seemed kind of friendly and somewhat welcoming. He even found it humorous how the leader spoke Lane’s name; most likely they referred to people in such a way because instead of a surnames they used clan names. William stepped up beside Conri who had held his hand out; apparently a gesture of which the reptilian tanks were not aware.
“Greetings Arpatiko of Belegost, I am William of the Watson, inheritor to my father’s name. Thank you for allowing us through your barrier; I am relieved (understatement) that you are a people so welcoming to lost strangers. As for our ‘reasons;’ we are on a mission, in search of a lost vessel and its crew. You haven’t, perchance, seen any ships, other than ours, around have you?”
Despite feeling quite silly, he mimicked their apparent naming system, hoping to form some common ground between the group of stoic killing machines and their group of alien warriors.

Kurosanai was nervous. He wouldn’t deny it as it was not something to be ashamed of. He stood on a foreign world millions of miles away from his home staring down a large group of unknown aliens of monstrous size clad in large metal plates with some even having what looked like guns on their shoulders. Anyone would be naturally nervous around these guys. The one person that was not it appeared was Conri Lane as he walked forward and took charge of the situation. He introduced himself and asked what was going on in a nonchalant manner. Just that simple act seemed to ease the tension that ran through his body. He felt his muscles relax and his breathing return back to normal. When the largest of the aliens stepped forward it became obvious that this was their leader, at least they were similar in manner to humans in that fact.
So my new friends, who are you, and why have you come?” The leader spoke. His words seemed confident and the others did not move as far as Kuro could tell this man was not lying. It was rather disturbing to know that they almost crashed into the shield before erupting into a giant fire ball. It was rather nice of them to open up the shields.
“Thank the gods…” The prodigy of the Muzai mumbled under his breath. However Conri’s show of bravado proved enough to embolden the rather bland Willie Watson. When he stepped forward to talk Kuro wanted to cut him off and prove to him that he was nothing but a blow heart.
You haven’t, perchance, seen any ships, other than ours, around have you?” The stick in the mud stated in a limerick. And it was then that Kurosanai wanted to punch William of the Watson upside the head. He sounded like an idiot and if he didn’t know better the fool ran the possibility of ruining everything that was going on by pissing off the leader.
Kurosanai was not one to be left out though and walked forward for a renewed sense of confidence thanks to Conri and annoyance thanks to Watson. He walked up to the side of Willie Watson so that he was in between the prodigy of the Muzai and the galactic tournament winner. With a hard slap down on the boring fool’s shoulder Kurosanai began his own introductions.
“It is a pleasure to meet you Arpatiko of Belegost. I am Kurosanai Muzai and deeply grateful that decided not to let us crash and die in a giant fire ball against your shields.” Kuro spoke politely with bow of his head. “As my ohhhh so joyous and easy going friend has stated we are looking for some people that might have come this way recently. Based on your statement it should not be hard to determine if they had in fact landed here or not.” Kurosanai stated with a sarcastic tone on the first part of the sentence. He was not going to get out done by a second rate side kick. The prodigy of the Muzai didn’t mind letting Conri take the lead as he was no doubt much better at these sorts of negotiations then he was. At least for the moment there was not the threat of immediate death.

Conri of the Lane, heh heh, he would have to remember that one for future reference. It had a nice ring to it, it sounded somewhat like what people said during the time of knights and such. Was that a hint at their culture then? It was hard to tell, especially considering that the weapons they had were actually pretty high tech. The other issue was that his hand hadn't been shaken which just left things kind of awkward for a few seconds before he decided to put it down. The guy wanted the others to introduce themselves and luckily they had managed to get their heads in the game to do just that, as oddly as they had. It would be better if there wasn't any sarcasm being flung around, if they did get through this then he would need to have a talk with them about not trying to piss off the locals with their antics.
Unfortunately, that mind frame was soon shattered as the leader of this group mentioned a church and his eyes locked onto where he could only assume Arpatiko's were located,"Church? What church?" There was a small hint of anger in his voice, but he was trying to keep it in check. He couldn't assume it was the one that he knew about, but what other church could be gathering supplied from a place like this? There was also the question of what supplies they gathered from these people, if it was weapons, then he might need to disappoint the church a whole lot while he was here. He didn't exactly want to spit in the hospitality he had been shown though, so he would have to gather all the information that he could before doing anything.
The other two had taken care of the main reason that they were here, he didn't need to repeat it any more, that would just be overkill for the matter. They would wait for the answer, and go from there with their information, as it stood he had multiple objectives now. The other two could leave once their mission was over, but he would stay and he knew that Marisa would come back for him, so there wasn't a reason to not stick around now. He just hoped that Arpatiko would be willing to talk to him and share whatever information that he had, if it was the church in his mind.

“It is a pleasure to meet you Arpatiko of Belegost. I am Kurosanai Muzai and deeply grateful that decided not to let us crash and die in a giant fire ball against your shields. As my ohhhh so joyous and easy going friend has stated we are looking for some people that might have come this way recently. Based on your statement it should not be hard to determine if they had in fact landed here or not.”
Arpatiko looked from one to the other as they introduced themselves, each beyond the blue haired one asking if he knew anything about a ship they were working for. The human with the bandages wore his enthusiasm on his sleeve, seeming almost unfocused compared to the other two or perhaps it was some sort of attempt to draw a more friendly reaction. Such acts were completely lost on Arpatiko and his people, the race not having need of speaking in such ways. The leader of the group, having pronounced himself as such by stepping forward made no mention of their mission, but instead inquired about the Church. A leader in his own right Arpatiko addresses the blue haired one’s question first.
”The Universal Church of One is the church I speak of, no other church exists on Belegost or Mement Mor.” The warrior’s tone remains as calm and cool as it had been with his first statement, the directness of his words implying he believed such information was common knowledge to all. ”As for the ship you are in search of are you speaking of the one that crashed in Area 86 within the last hour? That vessel and yours are the only foreign ships we have encountered in months.”
Word had not come back yet on the actual fate of the ship he mentioned as he had not yet investigated it, wanting to speak with this group first. Based on the speed it had been reportedly coming down at before disappearing off radar, Arpatiko doubted there had been any survivors. Even if there had the temperature was rising out in the wastelands and almost anything that had survived the crash would no doubt soon fall victim to the elements.

The mention of a church had been lost on William. ‘We mean you no harm’ had sort of dominated his attention. It was such a relief to know that they weren’t going to be skinned alive and hung by their feet. Quite the relief indeed as Willie had quite the attachment to his skin. Do I even really have skin anymore, the boy pondered momentarily. His attention was drawn back to the conversation with Conri’s question.
“Church? What church?”
Suddenly the offhand remark seemed to be the center of attention. It sounded, in the little context it was given, like it could be a powerful religious organization. Men of God; sound allies… Or ultimate enemies. Nah, they sound like good people, he assured himself.
”The Universal Church of One is the church I speak of, no other church exists on Belegost or Mement Mor.”
The Universal Churck of One, William repeated internally. It sounded so… Completely unfamiliar. Racking the depths of his mind, even attempting to reach into his Technaracana abilities to scan his memory, he found nothing. For all he knew they could be a pacifist peace worshipping people; or a covenant bent on the extinction of a particular race. Coin toss really.
”As for the ship you are in search of are you speaking of the one that crashed in Area 86 within the last hour? That vessel and yours are the only foreign ships we have encountered in months.”
Damn, that would mean that this a dead end in their search for Zex’s lost men. The statement carried additional troubling information; confirmation that their brother ship had crashed after being disrupted by the geomagnetic fields of the planet. Communication between the two vessels had been broken upon their entry to the planet.
Willie, too preoccupied with the issues facing his team, had not thought of the others. Realizing that not only did they not land safely, as The Champion did, but crashed worried him. He hoped Banduk, Frigid and Man survived, or escaped, relatively unscathed.
“Excuse me, Arpatiko, but you mentioned a ship that crashed recently. I believe that may be the other half of our team. Can you tell me where this ‘Area 86’ is located? We have to make sure they're alright and regroup.”

When the word Church was mentioned the group’s de facto leader, Conri Lane, seemed to change. The aura that was surrounding him changed. Willie Watson must have been too dense to notice the shift in the mood while he was listening to the massive creature that led this planet. When the leader of the planet spoke more about this church Kurosanai could not fully understand what the problem was. He had never truly heard of the church though and as such could not make an informed decision on exactly what he thought about them. But judging by the reaction that Conri had at the word then he must have crossed paths with them before and it must not have ended well. Kuro never made full eye contact with Conri as he seemed to steal looks at the half saiyan. The aura he felt reminded him of when he had goaded Conri into using his anger to fight the prodigy of the Muzai back in the Gamma Slums. That was a choice he would not take as lightly if he came to it a second time.
”As for the ship you are in search of are you speaking of the one that crashed in Area 86 within the last hour? That vessel and yours are the only foreign ships we have encountered in months.” The alien stated behind that weird metallic looking face plate. His voice seemed to resonate at a pitch that was almost like a cinematic robotic voice. It bugged Kurosanai not being able to fully see the face of the alien. It was mainly curiosity to see what his face looked like underneath that was causing him to get antsy. But when he realized that the ship he was talking about was in fact was the other team his desire to go out and look for them grew in the pit of his stomach. He suspected they would be fine but as the sun began to truly crest over the horizon the planet’s desolate surface seemed to make an appearance.
“That doesn’t look good for them…”Kurosanai mumbled. There was no way they were going to be able to get there by normal travel. Meaning that there must be another way and then it dawned on Kuro that the group was missing something. Obviously if the planet exported materials to this church they needed an area to draw on them and they would need a labor force in order to do so. Based on what Kurosanai saw at the current moment he doubted that the planet could function just off of this small outpost.
“So are we able to get to this Area 86 via the underground pathways then?” Kurosanai asked as he focused in on the leader. It probably wasn’t the smartest thing to say given that if they were real as it would come off as the group looking like spies. In actuality if correct it was a lucky guess and if he was right he wanted to see these tunnels as he had never been in a cavern before.
